Safaree Attends Nicki Minaj Miami Concert, Says “There Is No Malice In Me”

Nicki Minaj‘s Miami tour stop on Sunday night (Oct. 6) included an unexpected attendee, her ex-boyfriend Safaree.

Videos surfaced on social media after the show and captured the fellow artist having a great time, excitedly rapping along to some of the Queens rapper’s hits. Safaree was sporting a denim vest and matching jeans, sunglasses, and a drink in his hand.

In one particular video, he was turning up in the crowd and reciting “FTCU” word-for-word with the fans around him. In another clip, he says to the camera, “I’m loving the Gag City Tour. Wassup?” View the videos below.

His attendance sparked mixed reactions, as he and Nicki had a very public relationship from 2003 to 2014, and she’s now married to Kenneth Petty. Regardless, Safaree is actively choosing to ignore the naysayers and support Nicki’s endeavors, claiming he holds no resentment or ill will towards everything that has happened in the past. “I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud,” he wrote on X following the show.

There were many users who echoed his sentiment. “I love the fact he doesn’t let his ‘hatred’ towards his ex hold him back from giving Nicki Minaj her flowers. Maturity is real,” one person wrote. However, many others called him out and said him showing up to the “Moment 4 Life” rapper’s show was inappropriate. “No MALICE? You went on a whole press tour spreading lies about you writing for her, disrespected her every chance you got… what you’re doing is stalk-ish and obsessive, but I get it. like imagine fumbling a woman like this?” another person typed.

I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.
