Celebrity Weddings of 2024: Stars Who Got Married This Year


The Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner, Lauren Alaina, Usher and more celebrities went to the chapel in 2024 and got married.

Turner met Theresa Nist during the inaugural season of the Bachelor Nation spinoff, which aired in late 2023. Weeks after their televised proposal, Turner and Nist wed in a live TV ceremony on January 4. It marked the second marriage for both Turner and Nist, who lost their first spouses in 2017 and 2014, respectively. (The couple announced their split three months later on April 12.)

Usher, meanwhile, celebrated a career milestone alongside a personal one when he married Jenn Goicoechea in Las Vegas. Us Weekly confirmed in February that the couple obtained a marriage license while in Sin City for Super Bowl LVIII, where Usher performed the halftime show.

“They didn’t spend months planning it, but it came together beautifully nevertheless,” a source exclusively told Us after the pair exchanged vows. “Usher says Jenn’s the best partner he could ever hope for so he figured why not do it in Vegas?”

Del Rey reportedly married Dufrene, to whom she’s been linked since August, on September 26, according to wedding photos published by the Daily Mail.

Us Weekly confirmed several hours earlier that the pair obtained a marriage license in Louisiana on September 23.

The ABBA singer and songwriter announced via Instagram that he tied the knot with Sas on September 21 after two years of dating. “The wedding took place in Copenhagen in the presence of close friends and family,” read a statement alongside photos from their big day. “Sandi Toksvig, Anne Linnet and Kaya Brüel generously performed and made the evening extra special.”  

Ulvaeus was famously married to his fellow ABBA member Agnetha Fältskog from 1971 to 1980, as well as Lena Kallersjö from 1981 to 2022.

Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx and Joe Hooten tied the knot on September 21. “Last night we got to witness & celebrate the love of @corinnefoxx and @joe.hooten ❤️❤️ your love & respect for each other is palpable 🙏🏽 ,” Garcelle Beauvais wrote via Instagram on September 22. “Corinne you looked stunning.”

Beauvais shared several snaps from the ceremony, including one of Jamie walking Corinne down the aisle.

The Chicago Med alum and LaPine, who are expecting their first baby, got married on September 14.

“[It] was the best day of my life,” DeVitto wrote via Instagram one week later. “Getting to marry my best friend, the man of my dreams in front of all of our closest friends and family at our dream venue was an absolute dream.”

McGarry confirmed on September 14 that he and his former When Calls the Heart costar had quietly tied the knot. When asked during a Hearties Family Reunion panel if the ring on his finger was a prop, the actor responded, “No, it’s not a prop,” before flashing his wedding band at attendees.

News broke on September 11 that Puth and Sansone tied the knot during a weekend ceremony in Montecito, California, after two years of dating.

After more than four years of dating, the actors tied the knot on September 1 in New York City while surrounded by their family and friends. 

“Our greatest hope was to give everyone a joyful, low-stress weekend full of warmth and a window into our relationship and the life that we are building,” Platt told Vogue. “And we wanted the dancing to go off. We feel that all missions were accomplished!”

The Milwaukee Bucks player married his longtime love in Greece in front of friends and family. They first got together in 2014 and share three children. 

The former Days of Our Lives costars, who got engaged in 2021, tied the knot in a barn at a historic Nevada farm on August 17.

“8/17/24 was filled with so much love with all our guests. We hope everyone felt like they were part of our wedding, not just invited! 💍,” the couple shared via Instagram later that month. “Our guests met new friends, families came together and love was everywhere in the air! This was such a special time.”

The Gossip Girl alum and Jackson exchanged vows in Italy. “The journey has just begun 💍,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post on August 25.

The Gossip Girl alum and former NHL player tied the knot in August, a source confirmed to Us Weekly. The pair have been dating since 2019 and share daughter Bowie, who was born in January 2022. 

Two months after getting engaged, the Counting On star and Wissmann tied the knot on August 15 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas in front of 500 loved ones. 

Us Weekly confirmed on July 28 that Ronan and Lowden secretly tied the knot earlier this year, per Scottish civil marriage records.

The Dancing With the Stars pro married choreographer Nyemchek on July 27 in Oregon after getting engaged in November 2022.

Eight years after the tragic passing of his first wife, Joey Feek, the country singer married his daughter Indiana’s schoolteacher, Rebecca, on July 14 in Montana. Rory serenaded his new bride with an original song, “I Do.”

Six years after getting engaged, Murphy and Butcher said “I do” during a small private ceremony with family and close friends in Anguilla on July 9, according to People. The bride and groom both wore white for the ceremony.

News broke on July 10 that the pair quietly tied the knot in New York over Independence Day weekend.

The Giants defensive tackle and McCain tied the knot on June 27, according to the couple’s Instagram Stories. The official MLFootball X account also shared a series of photos from the event, writing, “CONGRATULATIONS: #Giants star DT Dexter Lawrence got married to his fiancé Donna McCain today.” 

The pair reportedly said “I do” at The Bradford in North Carolina, located 30 miles outside of Raleigh.

Susan Sarandon’s daughter Eva Amurri tied the knot with chef Ian Hock in a small ceremony in June. Against the backdrop of New York’s Hudson Valley, the couple exchanged personal vows in front of 40 guests, including Amurri’s three children.

Culpo and the San Francisco 49ers star officially tied the knot on June 29 after four years of dating. The couple were wed in a church on Watch Hill, Rhode Island, which Culpo told Vogue was the couple’s “number one priority.”

“It’s a covenant. It’s the beginning of the rest of your life — and it’s the union and bond of two people forever,” Culpo, who wore a Dolce & Gabbana ball gown, told Vogue of her wedding day.

The Bachelor alum and the NFL running back got married in an intimate Italian wedding on June 26.

“We decided it would just be us and to really focus on the commitment and significance of marriage,” Sluss told People one day later. “It’s easy to get caught up in all the glitz and glam.”

The pair tied the knot at St George’s Church in Anstey, England, on June 22, according to The Sun.

The winter Olympians got married on June 20, sharing wedding portraits via Instagram two days later.

The musicians secretly tied the knot in late December 2023, according to documents obtained by Us in June. The news came weeks after Us confirmed that Ashanti is pregnant with her and Nelly’s first child. 

The country singer and Little exchanged vows in Sonoma, California, following their May 2023 engagement. “The Swindells 6.12.24

The Summer House alum and Sundin tied the knot in Verona, Italy on June 13. Denver’s costars were in attendance for the nuptials. Kyle Cooke shared a group photo with the groom on social media.

“A proper send off for our dear friend @andreadenver,” he wrote via Instagram at the time. “Time to tie the knot @lexisundin! ❤️” 

Murdoch and Zhukova, who is 26 years his junior, tied the knot less than three months after The New York Times reported the couple was engaged. The media mogul and biologist exchanged vows on June 1 at his Moraga Vineyard, per The Sun.

The Yellowstone costars confirmed their wedding news to Vogue on May 29. They tied the knot at her family home in Texas in honor of their shared Southern roots.

“From the start, Ryan and I just really wanted to create a day that wasn’t just a series of events — but a heartfelt experience that centered around emotions, comfort, intimacy, and genuine moments with the people we love the most,” Harrison told the magazine. “Every choice was a reflection of us, and getting to witness it all come to life was incredible.”

The Jackass alum and Marie exchanged vows on May 28 at the Val Verde Historic Hotel in Socorro County, New Mexico, according to TMZ. The outlet noted that the couple is there to film a movie titled Collecting Souls, in which Marie is the lead.

In footage obtained by TMZ, Margera got choked up while reciting his vows and thanking Marie for helping him quit drinking and begin skateboarding again. (The wedding comes months after Us Weekly exclusively revealed the couple’s engagement.)

Multiple outlets reported that the couple tied the knot in May. According to The Sun, Brown and Bongiovi “quietly” wed and have plans for “a bigger ceremony” later in the year.

The General Hospital actress tied the knot with her husband for a second time on what would have originally been their 21st wedding anniversary. (The couple was previously married from 2003 to 2017 before getting engaged once again in 2019.)

“The journey we are about to begin is the most exciting adventure, in a new state and town, but most thrilling is that we get to do it together as husband and wife!” Sofer captioned Instagram pics from their wedding day on May 20. “The three years we spent apart were humbling and heartbreaking but vital to us finding each other again. The love I have for you now is the foundation of my life. I can’t imagine another moment NOT walking through life with you hand in hand and our hearts entwined. You are the love of my life, and it’s not “oops we did it again” but I’m so grateful we did it again!❤️❤️❤️.”

Bello tied the knot with her longtime partner during a gorgeous Mexico wedding ceremony on May 12. “We did it! We were so blessed this weekend to celebrate our union surrounded by family and friends,” the actress captioned a montage of clips from their big day via Instagram two days later. “Thank you all so much for being on this journey with us! We promise to Love, to stay curious and to always dance and find joy together.”

The Below Deck star wed Shafer after five years of dating. 

“Captain Sandy TIES THE KNOT 💕,” Yawn wrote via Instagram on May 14. “On May 11th , we officially became Mrs Sandy & Leah YAWN. I Married the love of my life.”

The Family Matters alum wed tech executive Ruhl on May 4 in an intimate L.A. ceremony.

“It was important for all of the people that carry an impact on our daily lives to be present and for each and every one of them to enjoy themselves and feel as though they were part of something intimate and meaningful,” Ruhl told People.

The Siesta Key star announced via Instagram that she and Strong tied the knot on May 4 after getting engaged in September 2023. 

“Now introducing Mr. & Mrs. Strong!!! 05.04.24,” Owens wrote in the caption alongside a photo of the newlyweds kissing after their ceremony. 

The former Bachelor married his longtime partner on April 27. 

The Mad Men star and Bianchini exchanged vows on April 20 in New Orleans. Hendricks stunned in a white long-sleeve lace gown with a matching headpiece while Bianchini wore a plum plaid-printed suit.

The Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge costars got married on April 19.

“We had the most beautiful day of our dreams because of all of the incredible people below-we will be forever grateful for all their hard work,” Brown wrote via Instagram. “A huge thank you to our family & friends who celebrated with us and surrounded us with so much love.”

The former CNN anchor married his longtime partner after a five-year engagement at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church on April 6 in New York City.

The Twilight star confirmed to Vogue in an April 4 profile that she eloped in Italy several months earlier with composer Gilbert.

“Originally, we were making these huge lists of people to invite but we realized pretty quickly it didn’t feel right for us,” Reaser told the magazine. “So, we decided to elope instead with a couple of friends as witnesses.”

In addition to the couple’s pals, actress Holland Taylor attended and officiated the ceremony.

“It was the most intense experience,” Reaser added of exchanging vows. “Something happened to us when we said the vows. It did change everything. I was trying not to cry the whole time except for when I was laughing.”

According to public records obtained by Today on March 27, Abby, who starred on the reality series Abby & Brittany alongside conjoined twin Brittany Hensel, wed Bowling in November 2021.

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback and Brandt exchanged vows on March 9 in Des Moines, Iowa. Purdy wore a tux while Brandt donned a white strapless mermaid-style gown and veil, per photos obtained by TMZ.

The baseball star revealed on February 29 that he tied the knot without naming his partner. 

“Not only have I [begun] a new chapter in my career with the Dodgers but I also have [begun] a new life with someone from my Native country of Japan who is very special to me and I wanted everyone to know I am now married,” Ohtani wrote via Instagram. “I am excited for what is to come and thank you for your support.”

The pair revealed that they tied the knot on January 10 in a New. York civil ceremony before eloping on a yacht the following month. 

“A moment we both been waiting for,” the couple wrote via Instagram on February 27 alongside a video from their wedding in the Caribbean Sea. “Perfect day to say I do.”

The Big Brother winner and Laretta, who got engaged in October 2022, tied the knot on February 16.

“The Calafiores 🤍,” Laratta wrote via Instagram on February 18. “Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day so perfect 🤍.”

Us confirmed on February 11 that Usher and Goicoechea obtained a marriage license ahead of Super Bowl LVIII. People reported one day later that the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas over the football weekend.

The American Idol alum and her fiancé tied the knot in Nashville on February 4 after four years together. Their 450-person guest list included Jason and Brittany Aldean, Hardy and Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney. 

The 90 Day Fiancé alum and Ramirez wed on February 1, same day as his proposal, kicking off several days of wedding celebrations. 

“As we walk hand in hand, the world around us fades away, leaving just the two of us. It’s a powerful reminder of our unity, our shared dreams, and the love that binds us together,” he shared via his Instagram Story. “Each step we take is a testament to our emotional commitment, and every moment spent together is a treasure. I cherish these strolls, and I cherish you.” 

Turner and Nist said “I do” at the La Quinta Resort in California on January 4, surrounded by their fellow members of Bachelor Nation, friends and family.

“They’ve all gotten along so well, and it even goes to the level of Theresa’s daughter, Jen, thanking her for bringing two new sisters into the family,” Turner previously told Us Weekly of their blended family. “I mean, it’s really great.”

Turner and his late first wife, Toni, shared daughters Angie and Jenny, while Nist and late husband Billy shared daughter Jen and son Tommy.

The Roswell, New Mexico star got engaged to Nicholas, whose last name she has yet to reveal, in March 2023 after initially matching on a dating app. They tied the knot in January on the same New York City stoop where he proposed.

“An at-home wedding felt exactly right,” Mason told Brides in an interview published on January 11. “Looking back, I couldn’t imagine any other venue. We’re so lucky the weather held.”

The How I Met Your Mother alum announced on January 19 that he got married “two weeks ago” in the middle of a “light blizzard” in New York’s Hudson Valley.

“It was an [incredibly] overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend,” he wrote via Instagram. “So grateful to so many people I love for making the trip to @thesistersofcedarlakes to be with us. To @forgedinthenorth for the extraordinary pictures. But most of all to Jordana. I can’t believe my great good fortune that I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife.”
