Sofía Vergara Debuts a Surprisingly Large Leg Tattoo In Sultry New Vacation Pics
Sofía Vergara seems to have changed her position on large tattoos.
On November 26, the 52-year-old actor revealed surprising new body art while sharing some sultry vacation photos from her most recent visit to Colombia. Throughout her trip, which Vergara began documenting earlier this week, the Colombian actor has rotated through a variety of maxi dresses that have kept her right leg hidden from the camera…until now.
While posing on an outdoor lounge couch, the Modern Family star pulled up the skirt of her blue and orange strapless look to reveal some gorgeous new ink surrounding her right knee. The tattoo stood out against the rest of her bare skin, as her two tiny wrist tattoos are not visible in either photo.
This tattoo reveal comes nearly six months after the Colombian actor lovingly chastised her 33-year-old son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara for his collection of ink during a joint appearance on The Talk. At the time, Vergara jokingly threatened to leave the studio after her son revealed that he has 34 tattoos, telling the hosts, “I gave him this beautiful Latin dark skin and now you can’t see anything!”
When Manolo pointed out that Vergara has two tattoos of her own, Vergara proudly displayed a set of tiny initials on her inner wrists. “Look how little!” Vergara defended herself in June, revealing one letter honoring her late brother and another dedicated to her second ex-husband, Joe Manganiello.
“This was Joe Manganiello’s initial.… But now he’s gone,” she said of the small “J” on her right wrist. “How lucky can I be that the guy I’m going out [with] has the same initial,” she added before reminding the audience to “recycle.”
At the time, Vergara was romantically linked with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, though she recently revealed she’s “kind of single” in an October interview with Us Weekly. Surely, she’ll find a way to recycle her “J” tattoo once again. Perhaps she can dedicate it to her fictional TV husband, Jay Pritchett?
